If you are looking for an undemanding and not long hike in the Tatras, you should definitely go to Mlynická Valley to the Skok Waterfall. This waterfall with a height of 25 meters is the fourth highest, but clearly the largest in the whole Tatras. The walkaway, which is open year round, leads to the waterfall which is the rare case among waterfalls.

The water flows wildly down the rocky sill at an altitude of almost 1800 m. The main water source for the waterfall is the mountain lake named Pleso nad Skokom. After falling down, the water winds through the boulders of the Mlynická Valley further to the Štrbské pleso area.

However, if you would like to see from above not only the Skok Waterfall, but also the entire Mlynická Valley, during the summer season, you can climb up to the Pleso nad Skokom. The section of the route is secured by a steel chain, but the passage can handle every tourist. There are several larger or smaller lakes near the Skok waterfall, which you can also visit.

Touristly marked path to the waterfall Skok begins at the railway station in Štrbské Pleso (about 5km). The path to the Skok falls elevates very slowly. The terrain is not technically demanding and you can manage the route even with smaller children.
