If you have already walked most of the most visited and most visited peaks of the Little Carpathians and you do not know where to step your foot, you should come to explore the lesser known part of the Pezinok Carpathians. Exactly in this locality, there is a massive wooded Čertov kopec (Devil's Hill).

Devil's Hill has relatively wide slopes and its peak is rather flat with less representation of rock walls. It does not stand out so much to the surrounding area, and perhaps it is missed by most of tourists. The Devil's Hill is part of the ridge, which includes the Štefánik's railway line and a red marked hiking trail.

The site was mainly used for logging, as the largest stock of high-quality wood was found here in the past. Mining residues can also be seen in the surrounding forests. In addition to gold and antimony, pyrite mining was significant too.

The Devil's Hill can be reached by the Štefánik's railway line. There is a spot hight in an elevated position, serving as a landmark. From there, you need to go north for about 10 minutes to an indistinctive peak. The easiest approach is from Pernek, from where the Devil's Hill is about 5km away.
